Ticket Information

Visitors to the 1999 National Championship Air Races have many different ways to get right up close to the action. Every day from September 16 -19 is jam-packed with activities that no one will want to miss. A variety of ticket sales and seat locations will allow spectators to pick and choose just how close they want to be. With everything from pit passes to box seats, there is something for everyone.

Children ages 7 - 15, are admitted free in the general section on Thursday and Friday, and children under the age of 7 are admitted free on Thursday. Children's tickets in the general section are $2 on Friday, $8 on Saturday and $10 Sunday. A season pass can be purchased for $15. Children's ticket prices for the reserved section are the same as the adult prices.

Those who wish to get a closer look will definitely want to purchase a pit pass. This pass will allow spectators to watch the pit crews prepare the air race planes and air show craft. They will also be so close to the action that they will be able to get autographs from the air race pilots and air show performers. Children will not be allowed in the pits without supervision. Those 16 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Want to take a group of people or the whole family to share the excitement? Box seating is the best way to do this. It allows you to enjoy the races from a private box right on the flight line. The package includes 10 seats, 10 daily pit passes (children under 16 need adult accompaniment), and VIP parking, good for all four days. This inclusive package is $2,200.

Tickets may be purchased through the mail by filling out an order form. Orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Cashier's checks, money orders, Visa and Mastercard will be accepted as payment. Orders will take four weeks to process. If you have any seating preference in the reserved section, please indicate this on the map below the order form.
